Independence Day

One of the biggest holidays in my country is Independence Day. It is held on July 4th. American people usually spend the day enjoying barbecues with their friends and family. I miss the hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, pork and beans and beer. At night, usually at 9:00pm, fireworks are held in every city with patriotic music.  I remember as a child, I always looked forward to this day because it was the only time I could see fireworks. One time I went to the capital on Independence Day, and the fireworks were spectacular!!

* This is a picture of me when I visited Washington D.C. in 2005.
