# 714: Am I a Cat Person?

Let’s get started!

I had always considered myself a dog person.  That means that I have always preferred dogs to cats….until now….maybe.

The first night Luka arrived, I was a little bit hesitant. She was so small and cute, but a little smelly.  I worried that she had fleas, and I started to sneeze.  Maybe it was just my imagination, but it felt like little fleas were jumping on my legs trying to bite me.  When it was time for bed, she wouldn’t shut up. She kept meowing and meowing and meowing and meowing and meowing and meowing…..I couldn’t sleep, so we put her in the bathroom. We did the same the next night as well.  

To make a long story short, now I find myself enjoying watching cat videos on YouTube. I search for toys for her on Amazon.  In the middle of the night when she jumps in my bed and starts to paw at my back, I wake up in the middle of the night to play with her. Just like a real baby, I never have enough photos and videos of her. Dogs may be “man’s best friend”, but cats are irresistibly cute.  I have a confession to make...I am now a….CAT MAN!

ルカがやってきた最初の夜、私はちょっ

とためらいました。彼女は小さて、とて

も可愛いのですが少し臭う気がします。

ノミでも付いていたのか、くしゃみが出

始めました。たぶん気のせいだとは思い

ますが、ノミが跳ねて私の脚に咬みつこ

うとしているような気がします。

寝る時間になっても、彼女は泣き止もう

としません。ニァ〜ニァ〜ニャーニャー

ニャーニャーニャーと鳴き続け、私は眠

ることができず、私達は彼女を浴室に入

れることにしました。次の日の夜も私は

同じようにしました。

まぁ、色々ありましたが、結局今の私と

言えば、YouTubeにある猫の動画を楽し

んだりしているのです。Amazonで彼女

のオモチャを探したりしています。

夜中に彼女が私のベットに飛び乗り、私

の背中を前足で叩いた時は、夜中でも起

きて彼女と遊びます。ほんとの赤ちゃん

と同じように、彼女の写真やビデオはい

くら撮っても撮り切れないでしょう。　

犬は人間の最良の友と言われますが、猫

の可愛さと言ったら…たまりません。

正直にカミングアウトします…

今や私はCATMAN です。
