Since I am unable to cook, Charlotte was kind enough to cook for me while I was visiting my father. So, in addition to junk food, I was able to eat some good food during my stay. Luckily, Charlotte is a good cook! Jokingly, she said she wasn’t going to make anything for me with rice or fish. Instead she cooked uniquely American dishes for me. Well, maybe they aren’t actually American, but I have not had them in such a long time, so I was so happy that she made them for me.
わたしは料理ができないので父の訪問滞在中はシャーロットの親切に甘えることにしました。ジャンクフードに加え私はおいしい彼女の料理を満喫しました。シャーロットは料理の名人ですシャーロットは冗談に「私はお米や肴料理はしないからねー」などと言いました。代わりにシャーロットの作った料理は私には珍しいアメリカ料理でした。実際にはアメリカ料理ではないのかもしれませんが、ずいぶん長いこと食べていなかった料理だったので、私はとても満足でした。

Which is popular in the south . I found a restaurant that have Sloppy Joe’s in the Menu.

Yes,southern cooking is great! Sloppy Joes are great, but hard to eat because they are so sloppy! ha!
