NO STANDING!

Last night I went for a walk and I found this strange sign.  It says "No Standing". Does it mean I have to sit down here?  Why is standing not allowed? Is it ok to jump? I have no idea what the Japanese says, but maybe it should read "no parking".  Maybe I will make a sign for my class that reads, "No sitting while speaking Japanese". ha ha ha ha

  2. What a lucky woman I was! I could study with sitting down in this day's lesson though I spoke Japanese. By the way, about strange sign, I looked up this phrase on the Internet. No standing makes 3 senses, No parking, No stopping(No standing Allways) and No stopping. This meaning is , not let to get in and out here besides passenger. It was written like this.

      1. standing water
      2. I can't stand mosquitos.
      3. I won't let this stand; something must be done.
      4. We must stand together against terrorism.

  4. Haha... It took me few days to underSTAND you.
    Especially “No Sh## Trump”

First of all , I don’t think I have seen such particular sign meaning “do not stand here to do no.1” on the pole in another country except in Japan . But Lately I don’t see the sign any more around .
If I took the meaning of “no standing” as “don’t do No.1” , it would be allowed to do no.2. ‘Cause they don’t say “ no sitting” .... yuk!!!!!
I know there are many people who can’t STAND to hear such topic, sorry.
But US president seems to like using those 4 letter words . He called Mexico sh**h***country . Does “ No Sh** Trump” come from his
    Such remarks?
And in this case , what does ‘no sh##’ mean?
    ‘Of course ‘or ‘no kidding’?
Anyway mr. John has to hug him and get him train
    Potty .
