皆さん、こんにちは！日本の夏は蒸し暑いですが、お祭りやおいしい食べ物など、楽しいことがたくさんありますね。私の故郷であるフロリダの夏も同じように暑いですが、また違った楽しみがあります。今日は、日本の夏とフロリダの夏についてお話しします！

Summer in Japan is a unique mix of intense heat and lively traditions. The days are hot and humid, just like back home in Florida, but here you have a chance to experience things like local festivals (matsuri) and enjoy some chilled somen noodles to stay cool.

When I think about summer in my hometown of Pensacola, the first thing that comes to mind is the beach. I miss the feeling of the sugar-white sand between my toes and the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The humidity is just as strong, but the afternoon thunderstorms often provide a welcome break from the heat.
