#763 またやっちゃった！

さん、こんにちは！今日は少し失敗してしまったお話です。皆さんも、思わず「またやっちゃった！」と言ってしまうような経験はありませんか？

The title of today’s post, "oops I did it again," is a reference to a famous Britney Spears song. It’s a good phrase for when you make a mistake. Yesterday afternoon, I went to a tango dance party and the organizer had made ravioli. I love ravioli, so I was eager to dive in. However, upon my first few bites, I felt something crunchy. My mouth started tingling and itching, and I knew right away there were some kind of nuts in the ravioli. I ran to the bathroom, washed out my mouth, gargled, and took allergy medicine right away. Then, I hurried home.

Luckily, since it was only a tiny bit, my reaction was not that bad, but my stomach still hurts, and I feel really sleepy and heavy from the medicine. (I took double the amount just in case.) I didn't think to ask if there were nuts in the ravioli. I had eaten ravioli a thousand times before, and besides, who puts nuts in their ravioli?! Having allergies can be such a pain. I had to cancel two private lessons because of my condition.

(幸い、食べた量がごくわずかだったので、反応はそれほどひどくはありませんでしたが、今でもお腹が痛く、薬のせいでとても眠く、体が重く感じます。（念のため倍の量を飲みました。）ラビオリにナッツが入っているか聞くのを忘れていました。これまでに何度もラビオリを食べたことがあったし、それにラビオリにナッツを入れる人なんていますか？！アレルギーがあるって本当に面倒なことです。体調を崩したため、プライベートレッスンを2つキャンセルしなければなりませんでした。)
