One benefit of living in Japan is being able to read and practice my Japanese skills daily.
The advertisements and posters on the train provide a great opportunity for study.
Here is a poster that I saw on the train today. It is a warning for people not to run into the train as the doors are closing.
One time, as I ran onto the train, the doors closed and my backpack was caught between.  I was so worried about what would happen.  Luckily, the doors opened again, and I was able to free my bag.
