I think the train driver must be new. He doesn't stop smoothly at the station. The train jerks and stops suddenly. I feel like I am getting seasick, lol.

May 13, 2018 Mother's Day
Private Lessons Today!
I think it is strange in Japan, people only say "Happy Mother's Day" to a woman if she is their mother. In my country, we say it to any mother.
My mother passed away several years ago. Sometimes I see her in my dreams. She used to say that if you see a person in your dream, then it means that the person came to visit you. After my parents got divorced, she worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs while taking care of my brother and I. At that time, I didn't think about how hard she worked, but now I do. I think all mothers work very hard with no days off!

Did you know there is s new Mary Poppins movie coming out? When I was a child, I had to watch it many times because my mother watched it over and over again. I hated musicals because I thought they were boring and wanted to watch cartoons instead, but now I really love musicals. My favorite musical is Moulin Rouge. Anyway, there is a word in the movie that is one of the longest words in the English language. Watch this video and see if you can find it. Have a super Saturday!

Yesterday, I made a reference to the word, "Kool-aid". It is a popular drink for children. Maybe it is like Calpis, but much sweeter. Kool-aid has a ton of sugar! When I was a child, I drank it everyday. Here is a short explanation of an idiom with the word, "Kool-aid". I found it on the internet.

May 9, 2018 Running in the Rain
クラスありますよー。
Raindrops keep falling on my head....This morning I woke up at 5:30am and went jogging in the rain. It was such a refreshing feeling and really woke me up! Actually, it is a kind of training for me because sometimes I feel like life is sunshine and roses, and sometimes it is like running in the cold, hard rain. I felt so energized after my run, but now on the train, I feel like nodding off. lol.

Gooooood morning. This morning I woke up early, around 5am and did my morning workout routine. I bought some exercise equipment and make a home gym. I am currently a member of Gold's Gym, but I am thinking about quitting now that I have my own mini-gym. Maybe I will call my gym "Miami Muscle Beach", ha ha.

April 30, 2018 休み NO CLASS
What is big, yellow, noisy, and has 4 wheels? A big cheese! In my hometown, there isn't any train, so like most American school children, I had to ride the bus to school. It was so noisy, especially after school when the children were excited and had so much energy. Now that I think of it, it was strange that I never felt tired or sleepy after school, only in class. lol. Anyway, the bus was so noisy with the school children yelling and screaming that sometimes the bus driver would pull over to stop and yell and us. We would be quiet again and after about 5 minutes, be back to screaming and yelling. Poor bus driver. she must have had such a hard job. I had so much fun on the big cheese.

Recently, it has been really beautiful weather for running. Not too hot, not too cold. A slight breeze in the morning feels so good. The air was so clear, I could see Chiba very well.
