#770 的を射た一言

皆さん、こんにちは！今日は、最近のレッスンでの嬉しい出来事についてお話ししたいと思います。クラスで難しいテーマについて話し合っていた時のことです。

Sometimes it's frustrating for me to explain American culture using Japanese. I have an idea in my head, but I can't find the perfect Japanese words to express the cultural difference. Recently, during a class discussion, a student noticed me struggling and said exactly what I wanted to say. It was a perfect example of someone "hitting the nail on the head." I was so impressed! I truly appreciate their ability to express a difficult idea so well. It reminds me that all my students are very talented!

(アメリカ文化を日本語で説明するのがもどかしいと感じることが時々あります。頭の中ではアイデアがはっきりしているのに、その文化の違いを完璧に表現する日本語の言葉が見つからないのです。先日、クラスで話し合っていた時、ある生徒さんが私が苦戦しているのを見て、私が言いたかったことをまさに的確に言ってくれました。それはまさに誰かが「的を射た」完璧な例でした。私はとても感心しました！難しいアイデアをとても上手に表現する彼らの能力に感謝しています。すべての生徒さんがとても才能豊かであることを思い出させてくれます。)
