皆さん、こんにちは！今日は、マイの故郷であるフロリダの、美しい鳥、フラミンゴについてお話ししたいと思います。

I want to talk about flamingos today! As you know, our mascot, Mai, comes from my home state of Florida. One of the most famous sights in Florida is the large number of flamingos you can see, especially in the wetlands and near the coast.

These birds are easily recognizable by their bright pink color and long, thin legs. They often stand on one leg, which is a funny sight! The pink color actually comes from their diet—the food they eat contains pigments that turn their feathers pink. It's a wonderful symbol of Florida's sunny and vibrant atmosphere, and Mai is the perfect mascot for our school! However, I'm a bit worried about Mai because she doesn't have a passport, and the new Prime Minister has said she's going to crack down on illegal immigrants! 😅
