Yesterday, I went to the bank to transfer some money at the ATM. I was feeling quite proud of myself for successfully navigating the Japanese menu. Although there is an English option, the choices are limited, and doing a transfer isn't possible. Everything went fine until the very last step. Suddenly, the screen went black, and a message appeared that read: "You cannot use this ATM."
The worst part was that my card didn't come out! I started to panic. Luckily, one of the bank employees immediately came over and offered to help. He went into the back room, and the machine started shaking and making noises, like an old car on its last leg. Finally, the employee came out with my card and apologized for the inconvenience. I was so relieved that everything worked out in the end!
