皆さん、こんにちは！昨日マイアミ英会話に到着したとき、歩道にたくさんの落ち葉が散らばっているのを見ました。今日は、その光景から思い出した、私の子供の頃の懐かしい思い出についてお話ししたいと思います。

Yesterday when I arrived at Miami, there were leaves scattered all over the sidewalk. It immediately sent me on a trip down memory lane. We had several large oak trees around our yard in Pensacola, and every fall, leaves covered the ground.

My parents would always say something like, "This weekend we are going to rake the yard." I hated doing it because I knew it would take a long time and a lot of effort. We ended up raking several large trash bags full of leaves! But I did enjoy playing in the leaves. I remember the sound of the leaves crunching under my feet, and sometimes I would make a big pile and jump in it. Even though I didn't like the chore at the time, I cherish the memory of my family doing something together.
