Flying
I don't like flying. The first time I came to Japan was on a ship. It took about 10 days. I am not afraid of flying; I am afraid of crashing. They say that there is more of a chance that you will die in a car accident rather than a plane crash. However, in a car accident, your body is usually in one piece. I don't like the idea of my body being torn to shreds in a plane crash. Another thing that bothers me is that plane crashes happen very slowly. What I mean is that it takes at least 10 or 20 seconds before the plane hits the ground. During that time, I imagine, would be so scary. I think car accidents happen suddenly, so there is no time to be scared.
If I could travel by boat, I would never fly again.

I can understand your feelings. In my case, the most tense time is when a plane takes off. If our plane can get into the airflow well, I will relax quickly. I don't like a plane, but I will continue to use it. Because I can go fast and far away. To tell the truth, I want Doraemon's "anywhere door-どこでもドア".
返信削除Yea, me too. When the plane is taking off, I am talking to the pilot in my head..."Come on, you can do it! Concentrate!" I wish I had Doraemon's door too! Wouldn't it be nice to have!
