My Favorite Teachers Pt. 1

Of course, I always try hard to be the best teacher that I can be. I think it is important not only to be friendly and nice, but also to have good teaching skill.  When I think of all the teachers I have had in my life, of all the ones who had the most impact on my life, two come to mind.

The first is my English teacher in High School.  She was a very serious teacher, but not too strict. Once we had to write a paper as a homework assignment.  After we turned our papers in, she took mine and read it to the class without saying that I wrote it. The other students said that they thought whoever wrote that paper must have copied it because it was too good.  I wanted to shout out, "I DIDN'T COPY IT!", but I didn't want to spill the beans as to the author of the paper. However, it made me feel good.  Later, one day after class the teacher pulled me aside and told me that she was kicking me out of her class.  I thought "What?!?  She said that she wanted to put me in an advanced class.  I think her support really had an influence on my life.  When I was in the Navy, we often had to write reports.  Often, my coworkers would come to me for help.  Now, I must write a lot and correct my students' mistakes, so I am very thankful for my English teacher's support. I still make mistakes sometimes, but nobody's perfect (even a monkey falls from trees).

Next time I will tell you about my other favorite teacher.

Thank-you for checking out my blog. If you have any friends, please tell them about it!
Leave a comment and have a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful day!

BTY,in your heart wormed ,beautiful sentence, there is a expression i feel a little different nuance.that is "she was kicking me out". i wonder if that expression fit in here, the most impressive part.
i feel as if she showed a cold sholders from the bottom .sorry to say something at the end.any way i am happy to know how youve got your great literacy .i hope you publish a novel deserving nobel award like kazuo ishiguro.

  2. Thank-you for your well thought-out comment. As for as the phrase "kicking me out", it usually has a negative connotation. Actually, maybe her exact words were "I'm taking you out of my class". But to me, I heard "I'm kicking you out". I took it the wrong way at first. She meant it in a good way. Thank-you for your encouraging words. Maybe someday.....

    Copy it で (まる)写しをする ですね。
    コピー機電コピーするときは
    Make a copy ですかね。
