Do you know what a "fair" is? A fair is like an amusement park or carnival, but it is a temporary event that travels from city to city, staying in town for only about two weeks before it is gone! This is a memory for me because the fair used to visit my hometown in October of every year. I used to love going, even though I got on hardly any of the rides because I was too scared! I remember the amazing sights and sounds. The atmosphere was always in full swing! There was the sweet smell of cotton candy, the bright lights, the booths selling crafts, and the games. It’s a wonderful kind of nostalgia to think about those times.
