皆さん、こんにちは！今日は、先日の大きなニュース、大阪・関西万博の閉幕について、もっと分かりやすい言葉でお話ししたいと思います。
The World Expo 2025 in Osaka finally closed on October 13th, after running for six months. The theme of the Expo was "Designing Future Society for Our Lives." The event started with a sluggish beginning, but then it became a huge success, which means the event turned around. Over 25 million people came to see it!
Everyone who went talked about two things: the beautiful Japanese architecture and the long lines! People had to wait in line for hours to get into all the different pavilions because everyone wanted to see the amazing designs and technology. Even though the temporary buildings (pavilions) will be taken down, the organizers are trying to use the materials again to avoid making a lot of trash. The final message was about working together (unity) and thinking about the future, which is a wonderful memory (legacy) to pass on to the next generation.
